Gorski Drug and Alcohol Relapse Prevention

At Miramar Recovery, we utilize the GORSKI-CENAPS® Model for drug and alcohol relapse prevention. This model has been developed as a comprehensive method of diagnosing and treating substance use coexisting mental disorders, personality disorders, and situational life problems.

Miramar Recovery incorporates this drug and alcohol relapse prevention model into its relapse-prevention program. It is based on a bio-psycho-social model of addiction combined with a developmental model of recovery and a relapse-prevention.
The GORSKI-CENAPS® Drug and Alcohol Model combines state-of-the-art cognitive, affective, behavioral, and social therapies with addiction-specific treatment methods. A research-based system, the model is evolutionary because it melds the combined strengths of a wide variety of clinical models while transcending the limitations of each individual model.
